Built from inside a real store.
Le Stores was founded by Mia Sevestre, a fashion and retail professional with experience across design, buying, merchandising and second-hand retail. The product started with a problem she had in her own store, not with a technology idea.
The operational problem
Independent second-hand stores have remarkable products, but almost every item is a one-off. Nothing can be duplicated from an existing product sheet: each piece needs its own photo, description, brand, size, colour, material and price.
That means roughly fifteen minutes of typing per item, repeated for every intake. Most store owners simply stop, and their stock stays invisible online.
The second problem is synchronization. When a unique piece sells on the shop floor, it still sits online. When it sells online, it is still on the rail. Keeping a constantly changing catalogue accurate by hand is not realistic while also running a store.
Le Stores was created to remove both problems: automate the listing work, and keep the physical store and the online channels connected.
“Technology should help independent stores survive, not turn store owners into e-commerce managers.”
